Description
Farming, War, and Rusted Gears
Scythe is an engine-building game set in an alternate-history 1920s Europa, a land scarred by the Great War and dominated by towering mechs. Each player takes command of one of five factions vying for control over the land surrounding the enigmatic Factory. Through conquest, innovation, and strategy, you will expand your borders, recruit new followers, reap resources, and deploy fearsome mechs to secure your faction’s future.
Asymmetry defines the game—each faction starts with different resources, locations, and hidden objectives. Scythe features a smooth action-selection system with no rounds or phases, ensuring brisk gameplay and minimal downtime. Conflict can arise, but there is no player elimination, and victory often comes from building the most efficient and versatile engine rather than brute force alone. Careful upgrades, wise encounters, and strategic choices create momentum and progress that feel both unique and powerful every playthrough.
