Ark Nova challenges players to design and manage a modern, scientifically driven zoo while working toward global conservation efforts. You’ll balance animal care, infrastructure, and research partnerships as you strive to create the most successful zoological park.
Each player uses five action cards, which shift in power based on their position in the action row, making timing and sequencing essential to success:
- Cards: Gain new zoo cards (animals, sponsors, conservation projects).
- Build: Construct standard or special enclosures, kiosks, and pavilions.
- Animals: Place animals into your zoo.
- Association: Send workers to support various projects and partnerships.
- Sponsors: Play sponsor cards for long-term benefits or quick cash.
With 255 unique cards featuring animals, specialists, enclosures, and projects, every game feels different as you weave together combinations and synergies. The key to victory is balancing appeal, reputation, and conservation to lead your zoo to global acclaim.
