Expanding the Woodland Struggle
Root: The Riverfolk Expansion introduces fresh factions, new ways to play, and even solo and cooperative modes to the world of Root. With this expansion, the battle for the woodland becomes even more dynamic and unpredictable.
Take control of the Riverfolk Company, mercenary traders who profit from every deal, or embrace fanatic devotion with the Lizard Cult, spreading their faith across the forest. In addition, a second Vagabond joins the mix, bringing even more flexibility to alliances and rivalries.
The expansion also adds cooperative scenarios, automated factions for solo/bot play, and new Vagabond variants — broadening the game’s scope for every kind of player. Best of all, Root now supports 1–6 players, making the woodland struggle more accessible than ever.
